Swearing-In Ceremony - New Councillors

The Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes is pleased to advise that a Swearing-In Ceremony will be held this Thursday evening (12 February 2026) to formally welcome two new Councillors to Council.

 The new Councillors will be stepping into the vacancies created by the recent resignations, and the ceremony marks an important occasion in the continuation of Council’s governance and representation of the community.

 The ceremony will commence at 5.30pm in Council Chambers, and community members are warmly invited to attend and show their support.

 The Swearing-In will be followed by a previously scheduled council workshop.

 We look forward to welcoming our new Councillors and encourage community members to join us for this special occasion.
