Community Grants & Service Agreements
Funding Applications for the 2024/25 financial year are now open. Applications close 4.30pm Friday 1 March 2024.

There are two funding types available;
- Community Grants provide a one-off, lump sum fund for projects including capital expenditure.
- Service Agreements provide recurring funds each year for three years for ongoing projects.
Grant funds will be available to the successful applicants during the 2024/25 financial year and will be announced once the annual budget has been adopted.
Funding applications are assessed by Council. Applications that address the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes Strategic Community Plan will have a stronger likelihood of success. The Strategic Community Plan can be accessed here.
In order to be eligible for a Community Group Grant or a Service Agreement you must have completed and lodged a “grant acquittal form” for any prior community group grant or service agreement. All questions on the acquittal form must be answered and copies of relevant invoices, receipts or profit and loss statements must be attached to the acquittal form. If acquittal forms are outstanding, your organisation will not be eligible for future funding. Before submitting your grant application a representative of your organisation is required to meet with the Shire’s Manager Community Services, Megan Richards, to discuss the application.
This year's application information has been emailed to community organisations on our Community Groups contact list who have provided their email address. Groups who have not supplied an email contact have had this information sent in the post. If your group has not received their letter, or wishes to add or update its contact details, please contact Megan on 9761 0800 or via MRichards@bridgetown.wa.gov.au.
Applications will be accepted via email to BTNShire@bridgetown.wa.gov.au, via post to PO BOX 271, or in person to the Shire Administration building located at 1 Steere St, Bridgetown. The submission deadline is 4.30pm Friday 1 March 2024.
