Seeking Community Feedback - Draft 2026-28 Disability, Access and Inclusion Plan

The Shire of Bridgetown Greenbushes is inviting community members to provide feedback on its Draft 2026 – 2028 Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP), which outlines our commitment to creating a more accessible, inclusive, and welcoming community for people of all abilities. The draft plan sets out practical actions to improve access to our services, facilities, information, events, and employment opportunities over the coming years. It has been developed with the goal of reducing barriers and ensuring everyone can participate fully in community life.

We recognise that people with disability, their families, carers, advocates, service providers, and the broader community bring valuable lived experience and perspectives. Their feedback will help shape the final plan and ensure it reflects the needs and priorities of our community. We encourage everyone to review the draft plan here and provide us with feedback by emailing btnshire@bridgetown.wa.gov.au, writing to PO Box 271, Bridgetown WA 6255, or in person for a personal discussion at the Shire’s main office: 1 Steere Street, Bridgetown WA 6255.  Alternative formats and assistance are available to support participation. Hard copies can also be made available on request.

Consultation is open from Wednesday, 5 August 2026 and closes 4pm Wednesday, 19 August 2026.
