Resignation of Councillor Stephen Butler

The Shire advises that Councillor Stephen Butler has formally resigned from his position as Councillor, effective 5 February 2026.

Councillor Butler was elected in October 2025 and has stepped down for personal reasons.

The Shire thanks Councillor Butler for his service to the community and wishes him well.

The vacancy will be managed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Local Government Act.
