Maintenance works at River Park

The Shire has engaged a contractor to sand and reseal some of the wooden benches and picnic tables along the River Walk over the next few weeks to help preserve the timber and extend its lifespan.

In some locations, the work will be carried out in situ, while in others the wooden slats may need to be temporarily removed. We ask community members to take care and give these areas a wide berth while the work is being undertaken.

Some seating will be temporarily unavailable during this time. If you rely on the benches as rest points when walking north-east along the River Walk towards Greys Hill Road, please keep this
in mind when planning your walk.
