Candidate nominations for the upcoming Local Government Election open on Thursday 28 August 2025 and close 4.00pm Thursday 4 September 2025.

The Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes hereby gives notice that a Special Council Meeting has been scheduled to: 1. Receive Minutes of the General Electors Meeting. 2. Submitting a public comment to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water with regards to the Talison Expansion Projects. 3. Confirmation of 16 June 2025 Special Council Meeting Minutes.

The Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes hereby gives notice that a Special Council Meeting has been scheduled to consider a confidential staffing matter.

In accordance with Section 6.20(2) of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes hereby gives notice of its intention to borrow up to $3.5million from the Western Australian Treasury Corporation for the purpose of rebuilding and upgrading of the Bridgetown Depot facilities that were destroyed in the major fire of February 2022.

Shire President, Cr Tracy Lansdell announced today that the Council has unanimously approved the appointment of Garry Adams as the new Chief Executive Officer for the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes.

The Shire of Bridgetown - Greenbushes has submitted a Public Environmental Review recommendation with the below 500 word response to ‘whether or not the WA EPA should assess the proposal for referral’

At its meeting held on Thursday, 27 February 2025, the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes Council amended its meeting schedule for 2025 and introduced a new Question and Answer (Q&A) Meeting.

At a Special Meeting of Council held on Tuesday, 7 January 2025, Cr Tracy Lansdell was unanimously elected as Shire President.
