A reminder to all residents that the Prohibited Burning Period begins at 12:01am on Monday, 1 December. From this date, no burning is allowed — no exceptions.
Burning is permitted with a valid permit up to and including Sunday, 30 November.
The Prohibited Burning Period runs from 1 December 2025 to 31 March 2026 (subject to conditions).
Please ensure you’re familiar with your responsibilities by reviewing the 2025/26 Firebreak and Fuel Hazard Reduction Notice on the Shire’s website.
