Shire staff have continued troubleshooting the source of the water leak that’s impacting the Hampton Street Carpark.
We have now located the source of the water leak and can confirm that it appears to be a damaged pipe within the Community Garden area on the Shire side, rather than a Water Corporation asset.
We haven't yet identified the exact location of the leak and, while excavation is still required, we are almost certain this is the source of the issue.
We will continue exploration works and will make repairs as soon as possible.
