Advocacy WA is bringing its highly informative and engaging Roadshow to Bridgetown for a full day of workshops, one-to-one support, and community connection.
This free event is designed to empower people with disability, their families, carers, support workers, and all interested community members. Mark your calendar for a day of learning and advocacy right here in the Blackwood region!
The event is on Friday, 28 November 2025 , and doors open at 9:30 AM at the Bridgetown CRC, 150 Hampton street Bridgetown.
The event offers free workshops throughout the day and free food and drinks across the day. You will have the opportunity for one-to-one chats with advocates , receive information about rights, supports, and services , and take home Easy Read resources and tools. A chill out space will be available if you need a quiet moment.
The day begins with a Grand Opening at 9:30 AM. Workshop highlights include the NDIS Providers Session (10:00 AM) , Self-Advocacy (11:30 AM) , and Knowing Your Rights Session (1:00 PM). Between sessions, there will be Morning Tea & Networking (11:00 AM) and Lunch + All Access Showcase (12:15 PM). Later, there is a D-Connect Local Meet-Up (2:00 PM) , a Mentor & Volunteer Information Session (2:45 PM) , and a Community Reflection Circle (3:15 PM).
