2026/2027 Annual Community Grants Program applications are officially open!

The Shire of Bridgetown is thrilled to announce that applications for the 2026/2027 Annual Community Grants Program are officially open. This program serves as a cornerstone strategic tool designed to empower local organisations, drive innovation, and address essential community needs right across the Shire. This funding initiative represents Council’s commitment to strengthening our local social fabric and supporting the community's vision as outlined in the Strategic Community Plan.

The program’s primary focus is to enhance the capacity of Shire-based community groups, clubs, not-for-profits, and social enterprise organisations to provide one-off projects, community services, and events, while simultaneously aiming to increase community and visitor participation in local activities. We strongly encourage all eligible organisations to consider how a Community Grant could help them launch a new initiative or expand a vital service in the coming year.

To assist prospective applicants in preparing successful submissions, the Shire will be hosting a series of information workshops. These sessions will provide valuable guidance on the application process and offer tips on how to structure a compelling proposal. Please keep an eye on the Shire's website and social media channels for the specific dates and times for these workshops, which are scheduled to be organised in January 2026.
