Visitor Centre

An opportunity to share your view on the Bridgetown Visitor Centre.

The Shire has prepared a special edition of its Insight Newsletter dedicated to the background, issues and future of the Visitor Centre. You can access and read a copy of it here.

A community survey is being conducted based on the information provided in the special edition of the Insight. The survey is open to all interested residents of the Shire and can be accessed here.

The Visitor Information Centre is located on Hampton Street, 80m north of the Post Office.

As well as being able to assist you with a free accommodation booking service and information on attractions in the area, the staff at the Visitor Information Centre can also arrange bus travel on Transwa and South West Coachlines.

The Visitor Centre aims to promote local products, and we stock a large range of locally produced items such as books by local authors, postcards and greeting cards, olive oil, organic preserves and works of art. Also available are souveniers, soaps, maps, guides and information on other towns in Western Australia.

The Centre is also home to an extensive local history collection and a gallery of jigsaws displaying over 100 completed jigsaws (the only collection of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere).

The friendly staff can also offer details on any coming events in the area. It is the perfect place to start your look around this beautiful region.
