In 2020 local tourism operators in Nannup, Bridgetown and Balingup came together to progress an initiative called “Villages in the Valley Road Trip”. This endeavour was seen by local tourism operators to be a great opportunity to promote the beautiful Blackwood River Valley and local businesses. Their vision was to grow business by collectively marketing our region’s unique tourism experiences. Creating a road trip itinerary and breathtaking film footage as well as still photographs for collective use has been the outcome. The imagery can be accessed for free by members of Australia’s South West, Southern Forests & Blackwood Valley Tourism Association or the local Tourism Associations of Nannup, Bridgetown Greenbushes and Balingup.
The image library includes a range of still photographs available in small web version size, thumbnail size and full size for use in marketing material. The film footage available includes a 3 minute video which promotes all 3 villages (Bridgetown, Nannup and Balingup) as well as a 1 minute “village specific” video. These can also be utilised in your online marketing material (website, social media etc). The use of hashtags is encouraged with this campaign, as well as liking and sharing social media posts promoting Villages in the Valley Road Trip.
