As you know, we had quite the tumultuous winter here in Bridgetown. This put our existing, proposed and new trails for this project under duress. To mitigate future damage to these flood-prone areas, we consulted further with civil engineers who made recommendations to help us protect our trails.

We will be adopting these recommendations as we forge ahead with the Foreshore Park Redevelopment Project re-development.

Some of the project elements that you may already have noticed are the new picnic shelter, interpretative signage, updated canoe landing, and a boardwalk on the rectory trail. We expect to have this project completed in early 2022 and will continue to keep you updated.  Contractors will be onsite again (after the long winter!) next week.
