Santa is coming to townnnn! While he is taking the reins, Shire staff will be spending time with our families to wrap as we wrap up another busy year. This means, some of our facilities have different opening hours due to the needs of the community and staff leave.

Here is a list of closing/opening dates and times for Shire facilities:

• Shire Administration Building closed from Christmas Day (25^th December 2021) reopening on Tuesday 4^th January 2022
• Bridgetown Leisure Centre & Aquatics Complex closed 25^th December 2021 & 26^th December 2021 opening at 8AM on New Year’s Day Public Holiday.
• Library closed from 25^th December 2021 reopening on Tuesday 4^th January 2022
• Visitor Centre is closed on Christmas Day only (25^th December 2021)
• Shire Works Depot closed from 22^nd December 2021 reopening on Tuesday 4^th January
• Waste Facility is closed on Christmas Day (25^th December) and New Year’s Day (1^st January 2021)

The Aquatics Complex will be closed on Boxing Day this year due to unavailability of our qualified pool operators. We appreciate that this is a frustration however, our team of pool operators and life guards do work consistently through the summer to ensure we are open as close to 100% of the time as possible.  If you are looking to cool off on Christmas or Boxing Day why not head to a swimming hole of the more natural variety – Greenbushes Pool on Spring Gully Road. There is a fabulous picnic area with BBQ as well as children’s play area and toilets.
