Regional Events Funding Scheme

Tourism WA's Regional Events Scheme is an annual funding round for smaller and emerging events in regional Western Australia. The scheme is designed to assist with the development of events as tourist attractions within regional Western Australia.

Each event holder's funding request must be a minimum of $5,000 and maximum of $40,000 per year. The total funding amount available is up to $1 million.  Events are an important aspect of our local economy especially as we continue to recover from COVID-19 impacts.  Importantly events also provide an important local benefit through social and cultural development.

The application process is now open and will close at 5pm on Tuesday 1st December 1, 2020.  Events must be held between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022.
