The Greenbushes Bus Run trial has recently concluded, and Council has chosen not to proceed with the service. The initial trial began in October 2022 but faced challenges related to driver availability and community awareness of the schedule. Consequently, a second trial was initiated in April 2023, with increased promotional efforts, including schedule posters.
After careful evaluation, considering financial, staffing, and social impact, the decision to discontinue the Greenbushes Bus Run was reached. The service did not receive substantial support, as it averaged only two passengers per run.
