Council meetings are held on the last Thursday of each month.  A range of issues were addressed by Council at the November meeting including:

  • Annual Review of Council Delegations
  • New Policy – Appointment of Acting CEO
  • Amendment to Grant – Bridgetown Tennis Club
  • October Financial Activity Statements
  • Amendments to Building Capital Works Program
  • Electricity Procurement – Renewable Energy
  • Proposal for development of a bush fire museum
  • Planning application for a private 32kv power line (Talison)
  • Replacement of Climbing Frame Play Equipment at Memorial Park
  • Establishment of a Youth Services Advisory Committee
  • Establishment of a Cultural Inclusion Advisory Committee
  • Community Citizen of Year Awards
