Bridgetown Increases RV Friendliness with Dump Point

For those of you who don’t often drive into the “Town Square Car Park” (adjacent to the Bridgetown Railway Station) you might have missed the installation of the dump point for recreational vehicles (RV’s). The dump point increases the attraction of the town as a tourism destination for those ‘on the road’.

The dump point was installed in December 2020 and commissioned early in 2021 and has already (we are told) generated positive feedback on apps such as WIKI Campers and the Campervan & Motorhome Club of Australia Facebook Page.

At this point in time, we don’t meet all of the guidelines required to be classified as an “RV Friendly town” but we know that the addition of a dump point will encourage increased visitation to the town, especially being located where there is great parking for RV’s and easy walking distance to the main street shops and cafes.
