At the January 2021 Council Meeting your Shire Councillors voted to enter into a new 3 year partnership with the Blackwood Environment Society to deliver land care services in our Shire.

Funding of $43,054 (with a CPI annual increase) is provided each year to assist towards the costs of wages, superannuation, vehicle, information technology, stationery and tools.

Cheryl Hamence is the Community Landcare Officer and has been in this role for 5 years. Cheryl works Mondays through to Thursdays (inclusive) and can be contacted on 0428-723-111 or by email at nrmbridgetown@gmail.com.

The Blackwood Environment Society provides regular reports to the Shire summarizing their activities on a monthly basis.  You can view these reports here.
