Due to the current COVID-19 lockdown the Shire Annual General Meeting of Electors (AGM) cannot be held as planned on Thursday 4th February 2021.
Our Shire President has determined that this meeting will be postponed until 5.30pm on Thursday 4th March 2021. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers.
Under the Local Government Act we are required to give 14 days’ local public notice of the holding of an AGM and this includes local newspaper advertising. The soonest we can do newspaper advertising is next Wednesday and taking into account the 14 day period after the advertising and the February Council Meeting (Thursday 25th February) our next ‘available’ Thursday is the date selected.
