Council is very excited to announce the new CEO of the Shire of Bridgetown Greenbushes.
Nicole Gibbs was selected via a comprehensive recruitment process that saw us receive 49 applications for the role, with Nicole being a standout in the group.
Working at CEO level for the past 12 years across a broad range of sectors, Nicole brings to the Shire a wealth of experience.
Nicole project managed a National Social Housing Stimulus Package at the Department of Housing and also served as Director of Aboriginal Housing Services for that same department.
Her career has also seen her work in high level positions in the areas of mental health, aged care, children in care, drug and alcohol, disability and prison reform sectors.
With a care and passion for regional communities, Nicole’s current position as a CEO in a wheatbelt town has given her the opportunity to champion the need for strong, sustainable services and to guide the community and Shire employees through significant change.
Nicole will be starting with us on October 12. In the meantime, Tim Clynch will be continuing in the role until September 4 and there will be an acting CEO in the interim 6 weeks.
