Prioritize Your Bone Health: The 'Bones Bus' is Coming!
We are pleased to announce that the 'Bones Bus' mobile osteoporosis screening service will be visiting us soon to provide convenient, professional bone density testing. To ensure easy access for everyone, the bus will be stationed at the Library carpark for the duration of its visit.
When to visit:
Dates: 27 January – 30 January & 2 February – 3 February 2026
Times: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm daily
Important Parking Note: To ensure the 'Bones Bus' has the necessary space to operate safely, please do not park within the coned-off areas of the Library carpark. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping this space clear for the medical team.
Whether you are looking for a routine check-up or have specific concerns about your bone health, this is a fantastic opportunity to access expert screening right in our community. We encourage you to take a proactive step toward your long-term wellbeing.
The bone density scan is bulk-billed for all patients that are 70 years old and above with a valid pensioner concession card. All other patients that are 70 and above, with no pensioner concession card, will pay a small gap of $28.45
