The Child & Youth Health Network

Published on Friday, 23 April 2021 at 8:00:00 AM

The Child and Youth Health Network aims to improve health and well-being outcomes for young people in our community by enabling consumers and carers, health professionals, hospitals, health services and the WA Department of Health to engage and collaborate effectively to facilitate health policy and increased coordination of care across our State.

They have recently created a short animation aimed at helping young people aged between 12 and 18 years by providing them on key topics such as:

  • how young people can expect to be treated by health professionals
  • information on their health privacy and confidentiality
  • how to access Medicare
  • tips on choosing a GP

You can view (and share) the animation here
