The Bridgetown Family & Community Centre (BFCC) recently announced its new Recycling Hub, which is located next the Little Library at the BFCC on the Corner of Roe and Steere Streets. The Centre is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm. The Hub accepts:
- Hair aerosol containers (i.e. hairspray, mousse, dry shampoo etc.)
- Empty hair colour jars, lids, bottles, closures, tubes, pumps, caps and stirrers made from plastics and flexible or rigid aluminium. (including gloves from dye boxes)
- Hair care jars, lids, bottles, closures, tubes, pumps and caps (i.e. gel, wax etc)
- Blades and razors (refillable and disposable), rigid plastic packaging from razors, flexible plastic bag packaging from razors.
- Electronic toothbrush handles and electric toothbrush bases.
- Burt’s Bees personal care, lip care and skin care packaging (no other brands).
- Paw Patrol toys (no other kinds of toys).
- Bread tags.
- Plastic lids from bottles.
