We are sending off 2018 and ending our 150th Year Anniversary in style with this evening event, celebrating our home and community.

Join us from 6pm as Andrew Winton, brother of Breath author Tim Winton, entertains with his incredible slide guitar talent. The Bridgetown Art Trail will be officially launched, and at 8pm we will settle in the for the screening of the visually stunning Australian story, Breath.

This is a family event, so bring your picnic, a rug and a couple of pillows and farewell 2018 with music, a movie and great company beneath the gum trees.

Breath, based on the much-loved novel by Tim Winton, is a coming of age story set against the backdrop of the Western Australian coastline. Filmed in Denmark, the film chronicles lives of Pikelet and Loonie – two best friends navigating their way into adulthood with all the prickly complications that come with it.
