The Australian government has recently advised of two funding opportunities for businesses. 

The Hotel Energy Uplift Program provides funding grants to support small and medium hotels to reduce their energy use, improve energy productivity and deliver carbon reduction.  Funding of between $10,000 and $25,000 is available.  Grant applications must be submitted by 1 April 2021 and the works must be completed by 30 June 2022.  The guidelines allow for accommodation complexes from 1 – 99 guestrooms. The Business Events Grant Program provides funding for delegates, including buyers and sellers, to attend and participate at exhibitions, conferences and conventions.  Applications must be submitted by 30 March 2021.  The program aims to ease the financial pressure for business event organizers and incentivise Australian businesses to participate at pre-approved events.
