A wonderful morning at the Bridgetown pool for our annual Australia Day Breakfast last Friday.
We were lucky to have a lovely sunny day, which made for
perfect conditions for a BBQs breakfast, fun in the pool accompanied by the melodic entertainment of
Mary Myfanwy.
Huge congratulations to the recipients of this year's Citizen of the Year awards who were celebrated and awarded at the event.
Each of the winners were awarded their certificates by last years winners.
Community Citizens of the Year - Barry and Lyn Perks

Active Citizen of the Year - Irma Lachmund
The Community Citizen of the Year Awards program has been delivered in partnership with Local Governments over many years, whereby local outstanding people and community organisations are acknowledged for their contributions to our local community.
Many thanks to the councillors who cooked breakfast, the Shire staff who set up and ran the event and to all those who came along.
