Each year your Shire Council allocates $160,000 to assist community groups, sporting groups and other agencies/project partners deliver community focused initiatives, activities and projects.

The funding round opens on 1 December annually and letters to all groups on our contact list have been issued advising of the process to apply.  Community grants are funded for 1 year and Service Agreements provide 3 years funding for successful applicants. The funding is for the 2021-2022 financial year.

Successful applications need to show alignment between your proposed project and Shire strategic objectives.  Applicants are required to meet with the Executive Manager Community Services (Elizabeth Denniss) prior to submitting their application as part of the application process.

You can review the relevant policy F.1 Community Grants, Service Agreements, Donations and Contributions here and you can download an application form here.

If your group has not yet received their formal letter of advice regarding the funding round opening, please call us to make sure we have your correct contact details.
