Don’t forget to pay your rates! Fully payment is due by 24 September 2021. All eligible ratepayers who pay their rates by that date will automatically be entered into the annual rate prize!  First prize is a $400 community cash voucher! You can pay online or in-person at the Shire Administration Office. 

In Western Australia, rates are not directly linked to overall movements in property prices. The Western Australian Local Government Association website provides clear information and explanation of Council rates are calculated and what can cause an increase in rates.
