In July 2020 we shared with you a great opportunity that the Southern Forests & Blackwood Valley Tourism Associations (SFBVTA) had negotiated to help local business advertise on TV. This opportunity was brokered early on, post COVID-19, when there was a great deal of uncertainty on the impact of our local, state and national economies. The advertising campaign featured on GWN, 7Two and 7Mate and allowed for 8 second adverts to be produced for each business/attraction within a longer (30 second) time slot. This allowed for three individual adverts to be contained within each 30 second time slot and a regional ‘bookend’ image at the start and end to help brand our regional tourism destination while promoting local attractions. We purchased a couple of 8 second advertising time slots, and so did the Warren Blackwood Alliance of Councils. Several local businesses also invested in this opportunity.
