New Water Tanks for Hester Brook & Kangaroo Gully Bush Fire Stations

Published on Friday, 12 February 2021 at 8:38:45 AM

We have recently received funding of $18,582 to install a new 50,000 litre water tank, including pump, electrical and pipe installation at both the Hester Brook and Kangaroo Gully Bush Fire Stations.

Funding was secured through the WA Recovery Plan – Water Tank Allocations.  The new tanks will bring both stations up to a standard that will allow for provision of water for the emergency filling of fire appliances.

This investment will contribute to continued improvement in our Shire with regard to bush fire control.
