Morning Tea for Residents 60 Years & Over – 2 June 2021

Published on Friday, 28 May 2021 at 8:00:00 AM

It is that time of year again!  The annual morning tea for people 60 years and over is being held in Greenbushes this year on Wednesday 2 June at 10.00am.  This is a great opportunity for our ‘elders’ to come together and enjoy each other’s company over a cuppa and some delicious eats from Tasty Edibles.  You will also be able to meet your Shire Councillors and members of the Shire’s Access and Inclusion Committee.  If you live in Greenbushes and are looking for a new volunteer opportunity joining this Committee could be a great way to have a “Greenbushes voice” in the important areas of disability and active aging.

The morning tea will be held in the Greenbushes CRC Meeting Room and there will be bus transport available from Bridgetown to make sure nobody misses out!  To book a seat on the bus please call the Shire Administration Office on 9761-0800.

Our guest speakers this year will be representatives from Community Home Care who will give a short presentation on their services and will also be available after the morning tea for individual appointment arrangements if you are interested in learning more about home care services that are available. You can read more about Community Home Care in an earlier news article here
