Local Food Feasts for World Localization Day

Living in the country we tend to be more aware of where our food comes from.  Many of us like to buy fresh, local produces wherever possible. Local groups such as Transition Bridgetown, Ashbil Community Garden, the Blackwood Valley Small Landowners Group and the Greenbushes Community Garden are key local groups who advocate for education and awareness of environmental and food localization issues.

World Localization Day (20 June 2020) is a celebration of the emerging worldwide localization movement which aims to restore the community fabric and human-scale, ecological economies with a focus on local food systems.  You can learn more about this concept here

Transition Bridgetown are hosting a Local Food Feast on Sunday 20 June from 4.30pm – 6.30pm.  You can learn more about Local Food Feasts here
