Bridgetown Community Home Care

Published on Friday, 14 May 2021 at 8:00:00 AM

We met recently with representatives from Bridgetown Community Home Care (CHC) who provide a great deal of support for seniors in our community, including transportation for a range of client needs, meals-on-wheels, domestic and gardening assistance for clients and individuals to assist with the complex pathways around accessing home care packages!

Our meeting highlighted the importance of ensuring that as many services as possible are both delivered and administered locally.  CHC Bridgetown provides services to Bridgetown, Boyup Brook and Greenbushes and may soon include service provision in Nannup.  CHC representatives also meet regularly with Shire officers and other stakeholders and are represented on Council’s Access & Inclusion Advisory Committee which provides advice to Council on the development, review and implementation of strategic plans for seniors (active aging) and people with disability in our community.

CHC will be the key note agency addressing the annual Senior’s Morning Tea hosted by the Access & Inclusion Advisory Committee in Greenbushes on Wednesday 2nd June (we will provide more details on this event soon!).

If you would like to learn more about the Access & Inclusion Advisory Committee please contact Megan Richards our Manager of Community Development on 9761-0800 or via email
