Human Resources Coordinator 

To fill a current vacancy in the organisation the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and professional person to the position of HR Coordinator. The successful applicant will undertake a variety of HR related tasks and services across the organisation including:

  • To provide guidance, assistance, direction, resources and expertise to the organisation in all human resource functions.
  • To develop, implement, monitor and review Council's Occupational Health & Safety framework and ensure safe systems of work in accordance with the OHS Act, Regulations and Commitee requirements.

The position also provides limited HR services to the adjoining Shire of Nannup, anticipated to be 1 full day per fortnight.

An ability to provide advice at all levels of the organisation, along with the ability to critically analyse information, develop strategies and communicate is essential.

Conditions of employment will be in accordance with Level 7 of the Local Government Officers (WA) Award and the applicable Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes Enterprise Agreement with an annual salary within the range $75,588 and $79,409

Coordinator/Manager Technical Services 

The Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced person to join the Development & Infrastructure Department for the full-time position of a Coordinator/Manager Technical Services.

This position will be responsible for managing and coordinating the technical services of Shire’s Infrastructure division and provide operational support to the Executive Manager Development & Infrastructure. The successful applicant will have knowledge and experience in surveying, designing, drafting, estimating and superintending of infrastructure projects to ensure the effective delivery of a safe and sustainable asset.

Conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Local Government Officers (WA) Award and the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes Enterprise Agreement. The position will be offered as an initial ‘3-5 year contract’ with a negotiated salary between $80,000 - $95,000 per annum, depending on level of experience and qualifications. Provision of Shire vehicle will be discussed with the suitable candidate in accordance with Council policy.

Customer Service Officer - Leisure Centre

The Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes is recruiting for a suitably qualified and experienced person to fill the role of Customer Services Officer for the Bridgetown Leisure Centre. Under the direction of the Leisure Centre Coordinator, the position is to provide efficient and excellent Customer Service to all visitors, Leisure Centre members and the community.

Conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Local Government Officers (WA) Award and the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes Enterprise Agreement. The position will be offered as full time with a salary range between $50,370 - $54,927 per annum.
