Situated on the banks of the Blackwood River just south of Bridgetown, the River Park is the site of the first police station in 1862. Now a pleasant parkland with river access, walktrails, barbeques, playground and toilets, it is ideal for a quiet sit after a day’s touring or a picnic lunch.

Bridgetown Jarrah Park

A pleasant drive towards Nannup will take you to the Bridgetown Jarrah Park. Three walk trails ranging from 20 minutes to 2 hours in duration. The trails will take you through open jarrah and marri forest with a huge array of animal and birdlife. Barbeques and toilets are available. The spring wildflowers are spectacular.

Memorial Park, Bridgetown

This parkland, set opposite the Bridgetown-Greenbushes Visitors Centre, is perfect for a lunch stop with its barbeque facilities and toilets. There is a playground and big open area for the children to enjoy as well as a giant chess set. For access to the chess pieces, please call into the Visitors Centre.

Greenbushes Pool, Greenbushes

The recently upgraded Greenbushes Pool, known as 'Greeny Pool' by the locals, is a spring-fed swimming hole set amongst rehabilitated bushland. The area boasts barbeque facilities, toilets, playground, a shallow 'beach' for the littlies and a wooden jetty/diving platform for the teens and those young at heart. This area was recently upgraded to include a 'boardwalk' nature walk around the swimming area which includes information boards on the local flora and fauna and is a fantastic day out for all the family.
