Recreation Centre

The Bridgetown-Greenbushes Recreation Centre, located on the corner of Steere Street and Gifford Road, is marked with three basketball, three netball, two volleyball, eight badminton courts and caters for rebound soccer and indoor hockey.

Other key components of the Centre include:

• An open plan office/reception, central to the building with good views of all entry points and both sports halls.
• A carpeted meeting room/crèche, which opens out to a fenced children’s play area and adjoins a small tea preparation area; a family/disabled ablutions; and a first aid room.
• Two sports halls in a two by one configuration. All three courts have a sprung 15mm Marri timber floor, electronic scoreboard and “swing-away’ backboards. 
• A gymnasium with floor space consisting of 210 square meters constructed above the ablution blocks.
• A commercial kitchen adjoins the office/reception area and is centrally located near the undercover patio area.

The Recreation Centre also offers the following programs run on a term basis:

• A variety of social sports including Basketball, Soccer and Volleyball
• A Fully programmed Group Fitness timetable including a range of Les Mills health and fitness classes.
• A variety of term based Leisure programs that cater for all ages including Multisports, Kindy Kapers and Bootscooting.
