SPORT
Walk Trails
Please visit our walk trails link for more details on some of the walk trails unique to the area, including the Hester Forest Walk, the Greenbushes walk trail, and the famous Geegeelup Heritage walk trail.
Golf
The Bridgetown Golf Club on Hester Siding Road is a fully reticulated grass green 18 hole course, and visitors are most welcome.
Bowling
The Bridgetown Bowling Club on Southwest Highway is located just south of Bridgetown, has two greens.
Tennis
The Bridgetown Lawn Tennis Club has two hardcourts available for hire. It also hosts the popular Easter tennis tournament. Swimming
The Bridgetown Swimming Pool is open from November to April.
Croquet
A small croquet club play regularly in Bridgetown, and anyone interested in having a came can contact the Bridgetown-Greenbushes Visitors Centre.
RECREATION
Blackwood River Park
Situated on the banks of the Blackwood River just south of Bridgetown, the River Park is the site of the first police station in 1862. Now a pleasant parkland with river access, walktrails, barbeques, playground and toilets, it is ideal for a quiet sit after a day’s touring or a picnic lunch.
Bridgetown Jarrah Park
A pleasant drive towards Nannup will passd the Bridgetown Jarrah Park, with three walk trails ranging from 20 munites duration to 2 hours. The trails will take you through open jarrah and marri forest with a huge array of animal and birdlife. Barbeques and toilets are available. The spring wildflowers are spectacular.
Memorial Park, Bridgetown
This parkland, set opposite the Bridgetown-Greenbushes Visitors Centre, is perfect for a lunch stop with its barbeque facilities and toilets. There is a playground and big open area for the children to enjoy as well as a giant chess set. For access to the chess pieces, please call into the Visitors Centre.
