Results of the Extraordinary Election held 15th March 2008.

At the conclusion of the Central Ward Extraordinary Election held on 15th March 2008, Steve Hodson was elected for the term of office expiring on 17th October 2009.  The result of the count was:

            Steve Hodson                86 votes

            Jann Barry                     78 votes

Results of the 20th October 2007 Local Government Elections

North Ward

  • Cr Tony Pratico re-elected for a four year term expiring October 2011

West Ward

  • Mr Michael Southwell elected for a four year term expiring October 2011

East Ward

  • Mrs Stephanie DeVaney elected for a four year term expiring October 2011
  • Mr Brian Moore elected for a four year term expiring October 2011

Central Ward

  • Mrs Sue Moscarda elected for a four year term expiring October 2011
  • Margie Korver elected for a four year term expiring October 2011
  • At a Special Council Meeting held on 22nd October 2007, Cr Brian Moore was elected as President for the two year term expiring October 2009 with Cr Tony Pratico being elected as Deputy President, also for the two year term expiring October 2009.
  • The next Local Government Election is to be held in October 2009.

Federal Government

The Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes is part of the Forrest Electorate.  The local member is Nola Marino (Liberal)
